This workshop is based on the Red Cross’ Psychological First Aid Program, as well as the Psychological Health and Safety Standards. Participants will learn the following:
Types of Stress
What is Self-Care
Indicators of Stress
Listening Skills
Setting Intentions
Each participant will develop a personalized self-care plan throughout the workshop and learn about resources within their community and beyond.
Lorna and Cassie have both professional and personal experience within the agriculture industry and understand its complexities. The main goal of the Stress & Self-Care in Agriculture Workshop is to create conversation, share ideas and educate on taking better care of ourselves and others.
